Apple Releases Safari 5 and Safari Reader- Download Now

Apple has just released a press release for Safari 5, which states the new browser is available for download now. Safari 5 is available through the Apple’s Safari page now for both Mac OS X and Windows.

“Safari 5 is available for both Mac OS X and Windows as a free download at www.apple.com/safari. Safari 5 for Mac OS X requires Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.8 or Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.2 or later.”
We expected to hear something about this at Steve Jobs’ WWDC keynote address early today, but nonetheless are happy to get our hands on it. Below are some of the key new features and improvements included in Safari 5:
