How to extract Photos and Music out of PowerPoint Presentation

Many of the PowerPoint presentations contain extraordinary photos and/or music (wav files). Photos and music I extract from the PowerPoint presentation and relocate to my personal photo and music collection.. There are many ways to do it but we will go for easiest and a Time Saver one.

MS Office 2007 and Office 2010 allows to save images directly but still, if there are many slides then it is preferable to extract images in bulk. PowerPointImageExtractor is a small tool which can load any PPS or PPT file and extract all Photos and WAV / Music Files inside into a folder.
The PowerPoint Image Extractor Tool is also compatible with PPTX and PPSX format but may fail to extract out Music file. So, for all Office 2007 and office 2010 documents, there is a simple trick:

1. Uncheck “Hide Extensions of Known File Types” from Folder options.
2. Rename the MS office 2010 document as “FileName.zip” and press Enter.
3. Now, Extract that ZIP Package and you will find all the Media files in the Folder called “media” inside PPT directory of the compressed folder.
